Terms of Service

The deal, for your library.

Literoom is a free, private photo library from 2bit.pics, run by one person. The 2bit.pics terms apply to it too; this page covers what’s different about a library that only you can see.

Last updated October 8, 2026

This update: Literoom can post a photo to 2bit.pics, and a post made from it is a 2bit.pics post like any other.

The 2bit.pics terms apply

Literoom is operated by Alex Akers, who also runs 2bit.pics. Using it means you accept the 2bit.pics Terms of Service as well as this page, including what they say about your account, behavior, warranties, liability, and governing law. Where the two disagree about Literoom, this page wins. If you don’t accept them, don’t use Literoom.

What Literoom is

A private library for Game Boy Camera photos: import them, sort them into albums, frame and recolor them, and search them. Unlike 2bit.pics, it doesn’t publish your library — it’s kept by us, not in your repository on the network. The Privacy Policy explains where and who can read it.

You can post a photo from it to 2bit.pics. That post is public and is a 2bit.pics post like any other: the 2bit.pics terms and Community Guidelines cover it, and taking it down is up to you, the same as any post you make there.

Your photos stay yours

You keep every right you have in what you import. What you give us is permission to store your library, process it — converting imports, drawing photos in your palettes and frames — and show it to you. That permission ends when you delete it.

Keep your own copies

Literoom is where your library is kept, not a backup of it. It’s new, it’s free, and it comes with no promise that your library will be preserved: data can be lost, features can change, and the app can shut down. Keep the original files of anything you care about, and export what you’d miss. We’ll try to give notice before shutting Literoom down so you can, but we don’t guarantee it.

What you can keep here

Your library is private, but it’s still on our servers. Don’t use Literoom to store anything illegal, or to store other people’s work you have no right to copy. We don’t look through libraries, but if we’re told about content like that, we can remove it and stop serving the account.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top moves with a note of what changed. Continuing to use Literoom after that means you accept the new terms.
